Angry
Yesterday the Stones released their first album of original material in 18 years. I watched the video of the new single “Angry With Me” and am happy to report that it is a triumph. The record rocks. Good drumming, great guitar licks, and Mick in fine voice. The video stars the incomparable Sydney Sweeney who turns in a stellar performance on a red convertible in LA. What more could you want? I strongly recommend.
Wow! Artificial Intelligence, eat your heart out! I just listened to this song several times straight, and now I’m going right back to Replay!
I’ve listened to it about 20 times (with video): it’s really outstanding.
It would be nice if YouTube had a “loop” button option (for continuous play). I’ve listened about a hundred times! This song seems to whiz by like the blink of an eye. Bob Seger’s “Against the Wind” is another song I wish had a loop option. (It’s one of my go-to songs when flossing my teeth.)
How do you like the video?
I couldn’t agree more. The video seems quite original and it’s perfect for this song. It has that look and feel like it could be from decades ago. Hard to believe it’s a new song. And Sydney Sweeney surely appears to be giving it a thumbs up!
The song feels like old Stones. The video seems retro because it is all old Stones footage. Sydney strikes a young note–a shrewd move to bring the old geezers into the present.
